The Oafish But Lovable Jew and Friends Present: SAD ANIMALS!

Tuesday May 20, 7PM @ 2640 (2640 St. Paul St.)

Join us for a special and exciting performance of "the oafish but lovable jew and friends present SAD ANIMALS!"  There will be many mind-bending surprises in store - be sure to get there on time, we will start promptly at 7!

Susan Alcorn and Jake Leckie - this powerful duo of pedal steel and bass explore and surpass sonic limits, welding and melding the country of the blue ridge mountains, the sixties jazz of the west village and the squeaks and bleeps of planet Jupiter into an incredible soundscape of song and noise.

The Oafish But Lovable Jew and Friends - witness a group of friends navigating their way across unfamiliar terrains somewhere between country, folk, jazz and noise, between song and freakout, spanning modernized fairy tales, animal hunts, Lewis Carroll, springtime songs and nonsense.

Don't miss it!
This is a free performance. (As always, donations to the space gladly accepted!)
