Winter Soldier Broadcast

Saturday Mar 15, 9PM @ Red Emma's

WINTER SOLDIER: IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN
Almost Live Video Screenings from the Winter Soldier testimonies:

Winter Soldier: Iraq and Afghanistan will feature testimony from U.S.
veterans who served in those occupations, giving an accurate account of
what is really happening day in and day out, on the ground.

The four-day event will also host panels of scholars, veterans,
journalists, and other specialists to give context to the testimony. These
panels will cover everything from the history of the GI resistance
movement to the fight for veterans' health benefits and support.

Though Winter Soldier is closed to the public, Red Emma's will be hosting
2 nights of video updates, screening key talks from that day's
testimonies. The screenings are free.

Red Emma's is open Monday through Friday from 10AM-10PM, Saturday from 10AM-8PM, and Sunday from 10AM-6PM. Our weekly collective meetings are Sunday at 7PM, and are open to anyone interested in the project, except for the first Sunday of every month, which is closed to everyone except collective members.
Red Emma's is part of IU 660 of the Industrial Workers of the World, one of the only unions to recognize that worker collectives can stand in solidarity with those fighting the bosses as part of one big union.
