Free School Classroom
Johns Hopkins is silently hiring, training, and deploying an armed Police Department (JHPD) with full arrest powers. The JHPD will operate far beyond campus boundaries, patrolling our neighborhoods, parks, and public spaces.

Controlled solely by an institution with a long history of dispossession, disinvestment, and destruction in our city, the JHPD will answer to no one but Hopkins itself — not to the public, and certainly not to those it will police.

Join us to learn about the Johns Hopkins Police Department and how to have effective organizing conversations about it within your neighborhood and communities. The organizing conversation training will be followed by a social event. Come for one or both!

Where: Red Emma’s Free School (training will be hybrid on zoom)
