Set Dance (Irish Social Dance) workshop 12:15-1:45pm ($15 or $25 for admission to both the workshop and the ceili - **additional discount for those registered for music workshops!** - Admission payable at the door.) We will be offering dance classes suitable for ALL levels thanks to the collaboration of two of Maryland's finest dancers, Megan Downes and Shannon Dunne who will be teaching. Focus will be on Irish Set Dancing and the footwork involved in dancing to jigs and reels with others. There will be one class for beginners and one for advanced dancers. More info to come soon! Ceili mor with the Old Bay Ceili Band, caller Megan Downes 2-5pm ($15 admission - $25 to both the workshop and the ceili.) There will only be one break during this ceili.   This will be the ceili of the year - don't miss it! The ceili will be held in the beautiful old sanctuary of St. John's Church in the Charles Village neighborhood of Baltimore. There is a huge wooden dance floor, a stage and Liam Flynn's Ale House will be selling refreshments and alcohol. The Old Bay Ceili Band recently rocked the house at CCE North American Convention to high praise and acclaim - compared that evening to both the great Tulla Ceili Band and Bruce Springsteen! (Still haven't figured out that last one but we'll take it!) The fabulous Teelin Irish Dance Company will be performing during the break. Nearby street parking is plentiful and free!
