Baltimore’s best youth poets shine, and find out which five of
these incredible young people will be headed to Brave New Voices 2018
this summer in Chicago to represent Baltimore against the rest of the
world!
Spoken word poetry not only develops the artistic talent of many young people across Baltimore and across the world, but gives voice to their passion, social analysis and desires for this world. Join us not only to support their artistic endeavors, but to be treated to an amazing display of linguistic expression! As for the poetic talent in Baltimore? Last year’s team that represented the city at Brave New Voices, the premier international youth poetry slam (competition), won it! Don’t miss this evening of awesome spoken word artistry!
