Bars to Blocks is a weekend long event which will focus on hip hop and the hip hop generation's influence on the social change movement.  Come to Red Emma's for the kickoff, a town hall panel discussion where we will explore what messages hip hop is sending about conditions in Baltimore City and beyond. We'll also hear from community leaders who are using hip hop as a tool for social change and have been successful in engaging the hip hop generation in being proactive in their communities. Our panel discussion will be moderated by AJ Showtime, host of 92Q's Rap Attack program. Panel guests will include Frank Johnson, CEO of WPBRadio, Lil Black, Radio One On-air personality, Charm City Cee, artist and organizer of Lets Feed the City, and representatives from Hip Hop for the Homeless, Will Rap 4 Food, Baltimore City Youth Commission and more.
