Join us for a presentation about cooperative coffee farming in Sumatra, with one of our roasters, Casey McKeel. The presentation will be accompanied by a cupping of Thread’s Permata Gayo coffee.

Thread Coffee co-founder Casey McKeel spent 2 weeks in March 2014 visiting coffee farms in Sumatra, researching coffee trade and its impacts - both positive and negative - on communities. Casey will share a photo reportback and interviews with farmers, looking at the dynamics of coffee trade on the ground in Sumatra. The presentation will be accompanied by a cupping of Thread’s Permata Gayo, Sumatran coffee.
