Sometimes the first step of that is actually the hardest: starting conversations with people around you. While that's an important skill, its only a start. Being able to build coalitions despite differences requires an appreciation of and engagement with the humans in front of us. ​ Join us for the Winter 2026 Community of Communities workshop on this topic. We will interactively brainstorm and practice approaches to engaging with the soon-to-be-former strangers around us and inclusively connect that to our larger political context.
