Five Baltimore city poets unite to aid the city of Flint, Michigan! celeste doaks, Steven Leyva, and other local poets will read from their recent work, and bring us together to unite around the struggle for basic human rights - including the right to clean water. Baltimore stands united with Flint, Michigan - as the southernmost tip of the Rust Belt, and as a majority minority city, we see our struggles reflected in the situation in Flint, where so many people are denied the right to safe living conditions. This event is a chance to dialogue and raise funds to help support our friends in Flint.
