This free zine event is a loosely guided workshop to teach basic zine making. We will briefly touch on the history of zines and how they helped us in the past, and we will explore how they can keep empowering us today - through telling our stories, expressing truths, and forging connections with others.

We will come together to create a supportive, creative space to make zines across different genres and purposes. An instructional zine with a variety of prompts will be provided, as well as paper, markers, scissors, glue, and collage materials (like magazines). Feel free to bring extra materials like scissors and glue, as well as anything you would like to draw with.
