Co-written by the organizers themselves, Soup Throwers and Super Gluers tells the inside story of the rise of the Last Generation climate movements across Europe, taking you behind the scenes of hunger strikes, motorway blockades, stage and pitch invasions, and media storms — the late-night planning sessions, the internal debates, the moments of doubt, and the decisions that shaped some of the most audacious climate actions of recent years.

This is a chance to hear, straight from the people who did it, why they chose disruption over petitions, and what it actually takes to move a movement from outrage to strategy. As Adam McKay — writer and director of Don't Look Up and The Big Short — writes in the foreword: "Why would these people choose to get arrested, attacked, jailed, screamed at, and even deported when they could be peacefully looking at beautiful paintings or watching tennis? The answer is more powerful than any army, police, billionaire, or oil company."

Co-authors Carla Hinrichs, Henning Jeschke, Chloé Bertini, and Thibaut Cantet will read from the book, reflect on what worked and what they'd do differently, and open the floor for questions. Books will be available for signing afterward.
