The Dog Walker is a hilarious and charming memoir that explains once and for all how to deal with a pitbull who has just eaten a cat, how to have sex in a client's bed without the client noticing, and how to work for the man without losing your soul. It's also the story of how a group of activists joined together to form a successful business, their dogwalking collective.  Stephens's dogwalking collective was profiled on page 1 of the Washington Post, above the fold.
