Join Jason V. of the podcast "Local Color" for a special, live recording around labor rights & unionizing in Baltimore, featuring Nic Koski of Common Ground Café Cooperative.

"Local Color" is a podcast dedicated to telling the stories of artists, business owners, and community leaders in Baltimore City and the DMV. If you're looking for insightful interviews, heartfelt stories, and sometimes a good laugh, Local Color has you covered.

A disciple of public radio, Jason V. got his start as a volunteer during WYPR’s pledge drives and as an intern for Midday with Dan Rodricks. Jason then went on to work in commercial and news radio. After a car accident left him unable to walk for three months, Jason listened to a lot of podcasts and was inspired to start his own. He wanted to create a podcast that cast a positive light on Baltimore, and in the fall of 2015 Local Color was born. Since then Jason has published over 125 episodes of Local Color, with a goal of establishing the DMV region as the nation's next great cultural epicenter. Jason lives in Reservoir Hill with his wife and their cat Nkiru.
