Nishant Upadhyay is an assistant professor and associate chair of graduate studies in the Department of Ethnic Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder. They are the author of Indians on Indian Lands: Intersections of Race, Caste, and Indigeneity (University of Illinois Press 2024). They write and teach about settler colonialism and empire, intersections of race, caste, and indigeneity, and queer and trans of color studies. Their work has been published in journals like the American Quarterly, Frontiers: A Journal of Women Studies, Interventions: International Journal of Postcolonial Studies, Critical Ethnic Studies Journal, Cultural Studies, _and _Feminist Studies.
Diane Wong is a writer, educator, and artist originally from Flushing, Queens. She is currently Assistant Professor of Political Science at Rutgers University, Newark and an affiliate faculty of Global Urban Studies, American Studies, and Women's and Gender Studies. She is co-editor of a double special issue on Asian American Abolition Feminisms for Frontiers: A Journal of Women Studies. Her most recent exhibitions include “Archives as Memorial” and “De-Gentrification Archives” in New York City.

Christopher Joseph Lee is an assistant professor at Emerson College. They are developing a book manuscript on the trans and queer of color aesthetic strategies that transform the politics of damage beyond carceral/catastrophic reprisal.Their writing is published or forthcoming in The New Inquiry, Women and Performance, the SAGE Encyclopedia of Refugee Studies, TSQ: Transgender Studies Quarterly, and QED: A Journal of GLBTQ Worldmaking.
ren-yo hwang’s work can be found in Abolition Feminisms Vol. 2 (Haymarket Books), Women's Studies Quarterly, QED, Foucault Studies, Transgender Studies Quarterly, and Critical Ethnic Studies Journal.They currently serve on the board of Dignity Power Now and are a member of the anticarceral support network Trans Advocacy Group (TAG). They are an associate professor in Gender Studies and Critical Race Political Economy at Mount Holyoke College.
