Our monthly social justuce happy hour is back! Join us from 5-7PM for tasty drink specials, snacks, and featured foods! This month we are partnering with Black Transmen Inc., Hearts and Ears, and Free State Legal. Baltimore is celerating Pride in July this year, and while much of mainstream LGBT narrative will be focused on issues of comsumption, we want to honor those working directly in communities with the folks most historically disenfranchised. Come on out to help celebrate the amazing work these organizations have been doing over dinner or a drink!  

Black Transmen Inc. is the 1st National Non-Profit Organization of African American transmen solely focused on acknowledgment, social advocacy and empowering transmen with resources to aid in a healthy female to male transition. Black Transmen Inc. programs provide all female to male transmen and SLGBTQI individuals with necessary tools to secure identity and equality within our society regardless of race, creed, color, religion, sexual identity or sexual expression.

Hearts & Ears, Inc. is a non-profit organization for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Questioning individuals with mental health issues and concerns. People who are dually stigmatized can have a difficult time finding full acceptance from others.

FreeState Legal Project is a legal advocacy organization that seeks to improve the lives of low-income lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (“LGBT”) Marylanders. Despite recent, incremental judicial victories for the national LGBT community, the low-income LGBT population continues to struggle with legal challenges such harassment, complex family law issues, and anti-LGBT discrimination in employment, housing, foster care, healthcare and public accommodations.
