Tonight we welcome Tom Nomad, an editor of the new journal 'Insurgencies' (http://littleblackcart.com/Insurgencies.html)! Insurgencies speaks of the need to avoid the tragedy of the Red Army Faction just as much as the tragedy of Occupy, the need to abandon symbolic terrains of engagement, the necessity of grounding our understanding of what we are doing, separate from that of why we are doing it, in the here and now, and to make the effort to base this engagement on concerns of strategy.  Tom will discuss what makes action effective and what questions we should be asking about action and strategy in radical struggle.
