Brunch Cook
We're looking for a talented and dedicated brunch-loving cook to join our kitchen team! This position will build upon our already popular brunch menu to expand and refine our offerings. Working closely with the rest of the kitchen team, our brunch cook will develop new menu items for our Saturday/Sunday brunch, bottom-line brunch prep, and cook on Saturday and Sunday mornings. To be a good fit for this job you must: love breakfast foods and specifically understand how to adapt recipes for a vegan menu, be able to wake up & get to work early, be able to work weekend mornings, have some experience with recipe development (commercial kitchen experience is not required, but sometimes helpful). This position is a minimum 3-day-week position with the option to be full-time, paid at our project-wide starting rate of $15, with the option for profit-sharing in good months, and a pathway to worker-ownership. Line Cook
We have an immediate opening for an evening line cook! Working with the rest of our team of talented cooks, our new line cook will person the evening hot line, serving up burgers, falafels, and sandwiches for our lovely customers. Speed and accuracy are important in this role - our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has some professional food-service experience, and is excited about making high-quality, low-cost food. In order to work this position, you must be available for evening shifts, and able to stand and move quickly for long periods of time. We will consider both full-time and part-time applicants.
