- Red Emma's Education Fund
The Baltimore Free School is a platform for radical pedagogy and self-organized learning, supporting community and movement building.
How do I propose a course or event for the Free School?
Proposals for educational events—one off workshops, reading groups, classes and seminars—that are open to the public and free of charge, and that are aligned with our mission and principles, are welcome here.
Where is the Free School located?
Most of our events take place in the classroom space in the lower floor of Red Emma's at 3128 Greenmount Avenue.
Is the Free School ADA accessible?
Yes! The ADA accessible entrance is located at the back of Red Emma’s, facing Brentwood Ave. There is an ADA-accessible ramp leading into the Free School, as well as an ADA-accessible bathroom.
How is the Free School funded?
We currently receive funding from a variety of sources, including individual donations, grants, and our monthly sustainers. We rely on donations from people like you to keep our community educational events free—you can support us via the Red Emma's Education fund with a tax-deductible donation.
